HOSTEL FOR ADI DRAVIDA CHILDREN

During our intervention in Perambalur District, we come across many Adidravida children belonging to backward areas of Perambalur are in need of hostel to continue their education. Due to poor economic condition, they are unable to complete education or take up any vocational training. In order to support such Adidravida Girl Children, Karunalaya has been running Hosel accommodating 30 children. We take care of their safe shelter, food, education and rehabilitation under the support of our well-wishers and their contribution. We identify Govt. aided School and send them for education. Apart from education, we also take care of their extracurricular activities like yoga, music and dance for the children during weekend, teaching of spoken English by students during weekend and also encouraging children for sports related activities based on their interest.Weekly doctor visit is also be arranged for attending healthcare and attending their ailment if any. Our ultimate aim is to nurture a needy child with all required training and impart skills to bring out their full potentials to become a good citizen.
