SWADHAR GREH FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN IN DISTRESS:

Our Swadhar Greh is supported by Ministry of Women and Child Development, Govt. Of India Our home has taken care 93 women and 38 children who come out of difficult circumstances. During this reporting period, 48 inmates were newly admitted and 49 inmates were discharged. Out of 49 discharged cases, 14 were restored with spouse, 12 with parents, 20 with relatives, 2 inmates were arranged for employment in private concern and 1 got legal support through District Free Legal Aid. The discharged inmates were given vocational trainings in the trade of tailoring, Basket making, Embroidering, Paper cover making and embroidery work. All inmates were provided food, clothing, medical facilities and recreation. Medical officers visited the home four times in a month and examined the inmates’ health on a regular basis. Organised 8 Home committee meetings and discussed on rehabilitation of clients, quality of services, restoration issues and legal support.
